What is RATFEST?
Ratfest is an annual get together for ratlovers from Florida and their friends
from all across the country and around the world.
The Ratfest is now held at a larger facility to more comfortably accomodate

THIS YEAR- 2006
Every guest is also asked to bring a covered dish to contribute to our Food Fest. See the food page to check the list of needed items and list what you plan to bring. A fee at the door is collected to help cover the cost of our venue as well as other expenses: $10 for adults and children 13 years and up; $5 for children 6-12 years. This event is possible only through the efforts of many people, even some who are unable to attend. Without
these efforts Ratfest would not be possible. RatFest is sponsored by the Florida RMCA. To keep our rats healthy Ratfest is a rat limited event. (Only the ratfest babies will be at the venue) Please do not handle rats before coming. In particular- Please do not stop at any pet stores where there are rodents before you come.
There will be Rat door prizes, rat snacks, and a rat gift exchange. Or you can play games at ratfest for fun and prizes. This year we will have a store for specialty rat items, tee shirts, and assorted art. There is also ample space for relaxation and visiting. Hotels are available for those that want to stay there. Children must be 6 or older to attend Ratfest. For a rat event that welcomes younger children visit the RatCamp website.
There is no drinking or drugs at RatFest...Just a bunch of Rat obsessive Floridians and their friends from all over who wanted to meet...have fun... share info... and generally be obsessive about rats with other rat obsessive individuals!
